Paige is a recent graduate from UBC with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Systems. Formerly a dance artist, she completed Arts Umbrella’s graduate program and has had the opportunity to perform and study dance internationally. After transitioning out of performance, she became interested in studying the relations between the situated body and cognition. Her current research interest lies in investigating interpersonal connection through embodied theories of social interaction. This work makes use of dance improvisation as a medium for exploring the relationship between measures of movement coordination and the subjective experience of those interacting.
